FAQs

Can I wear my costume to Scarywood?

Costumes are not allowed at Scarywood. Anyone not following this guideline must change into appropriate clothing before entering the park. Tickets will not be refunded.

A costume is defined as anything that makes someone resemble a character or look like they could be part of the Scarywood show. Examples include cosplay clothing and props, period specific clothing or props, halloween costumes, onesies, face paint, masks, or any face covering. Medical masks are allowed as long as they don't resemble any sort of characters or look like they could be part of the Scarywood show.

 

What can I bring into Scarywood?

We want to keep our guests safe and reserve the right to inspect all backpacks, bags and containers entering the park.

For your safety the following items are NOT allowed inside Scarywood.

  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Illegal Drugs and/or Paraphernalia
  • Weapons
    • Including concealed guns, knives of any size, and kubatons
  • Liquid beverages of any kind including water, soda cans, coffee, or energy drinks.
  • Hard sided water bottles. Soft-sided/disposable water bottles are allowed but must be emptied before entering the park and can be refilled at drinking fountains.
  • Coolers
  • Animals
    • Service animals are welcome. Please be aware that service animals will encounter loud noises, and jump scares from haunters. Please do not leave pets in your parked vehicle.
  • Scooters, Skateboards, Roller Skates, and Bicycles (Personal Mobility Devices such as a medical knee scooter or ECV are allowed)
  • Portable speakers such as Bluetooth speakers, boom boxes, or backpacks with built in speakers.
 

Can I wear a facial covering?

Facial coverings are allowed as long as they don't resemble any sort of characters or look like they could be part of the show. Violators will be asked to remove their facial covering and put on a disposable mask.

 

Do Scarywood tickets sell out?

Yes. Purchase your tickets early to receive the best price and avoid the possibility of tickets being sold out for the date you plan to attend.

 

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

No. Tickets for Scarywood can only be bought online. All tickets that are purchased one or more days before the chosen Scarywood date will receive an $8 discount off the Online: Day of price.

 

Can children enter if under the age of 13?

Scarywood is not recommended for any children under 13 years old. However, it is the parent/guardian's decision if they want to bring their child to Scarywood.

 

Help, I can't print my tickets.

If you can’t print your tickets, you can always log in to your Scarywood Account and pull up your order, then just show that to the front gate attendant and they can scan your ticket directly from your phone or tablet.

 

How much is parking?

Parking is $10 per vehicle.

 

Is Scarywood included in my Silverwood Season Pass?

No, Scarywood is a separate event and season passes cannot be used for entrance. You can save $10 on Scarywood admission on opening weekend only, September 28th, 29th,and 30th, with your 2023 season pass. Tickets must be purchased at the park (We will not sell out of season pass tickets the for these dats).

 

Are the food vendors open?

Yes, we will have food venues open during Scarywood.

 

Do I get less if I come on a Thursday?

No, all haunted attractions will be the same regardless of the day you come.

 

Is Scarywood open in the rain?

Yes, Scarywood will open in the rain.

 

Are the rides open?

Yes, some of the rides are open for Scarywood. Visit our rides page for a list of rides that are operating. (Aftershock will not be open during Scarywood)

 

Can I leave the park and be readmitted?

No, you will not be allowed to leave the park at anytime during your visit to Scarywood.

 

Are the haunts wheelchair accessible?

Yes. However, some of the haunts have gravel paths to get to the entrance.

Scarywood may be too intense for young children and is not recommended for children 12 and under.
No costumes or masks of any kind allowed. No re-entry to the park once admitted.
Scarywood tickets are nonrefundable.
